Bright
(Netflix – 15) – what’s
it about? A movie where magical creatures also inhabit the earth, where two
cops must protect a Bright.
I just thought I would
give this a go, and I didn’t realise it had Will Smith in it until I started
it, so it’s not a low budget film. I have to say I liked this one, as it’s a bit
of a different take on magical creatures, where they exist in the modern world.
It has its funny moments but it also has some points in it which are quite
relevant and are done in a way that make you think about its story. Yeah if you
like some action and a little bit of humour, so pretty much Will Smiths type of
films then it’s worth giving it a look. It’s a good film but sadly not brilliant.

Spectral
(Netflix – 15) – what’s
it about? After various deaths by unexplained causes, a scientist is called in
to hopefully find the cause.
Again with this one I wasn’t
sure what it was going to be like, it came up in my suggested watches so I
thought I’d give it a go to pass the time. I can’t really say too much as the
whole thing with it is you have to watch what’s going on, otherwise it’ll just
spoil it. It was interesting, it’s not the greatest film out there but it kept
me entertained enough to keep watching to find out what the spooks were that the military guys were
encountering and what was killing them. Yeah it’s worth a watch, but I did
think this was going to be a scary film, which sadly it wasn’t.
