Rulez (15) – what’s it
about? After fracking creates a sinkhole in the grounds at a boarding school,
the students and teachers come under attack from monsters.
I watched the advert for
this and thought it could either be good or shit, and it turned out to be a
typical Simon Pegg and Nick Frost film – you know in the same comedy-horror style
as their previous films, which is all good in my book. I never know these days with
these teen movies if they are going to be really annoying or not but thankfully
the kids weren’t too annoying in this one which is also a plus. It’s not as
funny as say Shaun of the Dead but it has a few moments that I’m sure will make
you giggle if you like their sense of humour. Yeah, it’s got some humour and
light horror action, it’s your average movie, nothing too amazing but worth a
watch if you like Pegg/Frost movies.
