TV Series: Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles (Seasons 1 & 2)

What’s it about? After Terminator 2 takes place, John and is mother Sarah return to the past to try to stop Skynet from being developed and thus destroying the world…

This only run for two seasons which will probably make you think meh to it but it is really worth a look! The story is compelling, the acting, characters and what not are fab. I really have no clue why this was cancelled after 2 seasons. Even though it only run for a bit they gave it a good filled out plot and thankfully they managed to wrap it up nicely at the end and you’re not left with a complete random cut off like in some series. I really enjoyed this one, I wasn't addicted addicted but I got kinda hooked. If you like the Terminator universe and haven’t watched this one for any reason – I’d say watch it and give it a try, as it gives some more depth and character driven plot behind what’s involved.

Movies: Home (U), Insurgent (12A), The Gunman (15), Run All Night (15) & Hackers (DVD - 12)

Home (U) – what’s it about? The Boov are a race on the run and find earth as their new home, can Oh a Boov help his new human friend find her mum.

A little disappointed in this one, on seeing the adverts I thought it could be good or shite and sadly it was a bit more of the latter. It’s an ok story but it’s really kiddy, not one of those ones where you get a bit of humour in for all ages to enjoy, it was aimed at a young young audience. That said the voicing was alright and the animation was real good but yeah kinda meh.

Insurgent (12A) – what’s it about? The next part to the Divergent series, this film continues where the last one left off and continues with Tris and her chums battling those who wish to destroy them.

If you liked Divergent then you’ll know what to expect as it continues on in the same lines, really enjoyable. Apparently though it’s different from the books so if you read them you may be disappointed but as someone who hasn’t I thought this was fab.

The Gunman (15) – what’s it about? After assassinating the Minister of Mines in the Congo, the mercenary goes into hiding to be later hunted himself.

This is pretty cool, gritty and action packed it’s one that you’ll like if you like movies like Taken…worth looking at if you’re an action lover.

Rating: J J J

Run All Night (15) – what’s it about? A families mobster lifestyle makes Jimmy make some hard decisions about his life and loyalties.

Mobtastic – a gritty look at a families dark adventures, it’s a good one, with a good story and action, worth looking at if you like mob/gangster and action type movies.

Rating: J J J

Hackers (DVD - 12) – what’s it about? Teenage hackers Zero Cool & Acid Burns get caught up with the authorities after hacking a large companies system.

This is old school…phone boxes, pagers and roller-blades – it might be a little dated now but it’s still a great movie! It’s kinda of those wacky 90’s movies that you’ll either love or be like wtf.

Movies: Chappie (15) & Unfinished Business (15)

Chappie (15) – what’s it about? The creator of the robotic police force – creates the first AI, who is set on a path of self discovery and survival.

This was great – it was a little disturbing in parts if you start to think about it – much like District 9 that its all kinda dark and you know deeper than you kinda expect…I nearly cried in this – so yeah be warned, it’s bloody good though…

Rating: J J J J

Unfinished Business (15) – what’s it about? Fed up with his job Dan decides to start up his own business and tries to seal the deal which will make or break his company – which involves tackling his previous employer…

This was a pretty average comedy – there was like one funny moment but the rest was kinda heh funny, if you like Horrible Bosses you might enjoy this one but yeah it’s kinda like its sucky little brother.

Fandom: Random Nosgoth Cartoons by me...

I know recently I haven’t really posted much on here apart from movie reviews but I’ve kept my Facebook up to date with some random stuff…I now have found a few moments so I thought I’d share them with you here also…

I’ve been drawing some random Nosgoth related cartoons just for some amusement value.

So this one was for Tube_Reaver after a discussion we had last year...
Nosgoth Beach Volleyball Edition...

Then we went onto wanting to see how an actual game of Nosgoth Beach Volleyball Edition would work - damn you Tube Reaver

Cuz Deceiver's have the night fever - sorry that was bad...and so is this...

What's worse than the above picture - this one...

Alchemists are mean...

Frog Reaver - I have no idea why!...

This one was for Marmite_666 - damn Reaver flipping the eggs over when I was trying to cook...

Class warfare - this one was done cuz of the official videos of the same name - made me think of class warfare...

Got bored and drew a toon of my OC Tori the Turelim...

This one was for K-Razielm of our OC's meeting...

This one was for Marmite_666 and TrackerKitsune of our OCs meeting...

Cuz you know cosplay ideas can sometimes be misheard...

What the Razielim really get up to in The Fane...

How do Tyrants get so buff?...

The Summoner and her little pets...

We all know too well the emotions we go through when playing Nosgoth...you know it's the truth!

When the health station isn't on and you're like "feck"...

Movies: The Boy Next Door (15) & Focus (15)

The Boy Next Door (15) – what’s it about? A Teacher sleeps with her new hot next door neighbour – who turns out to be a complete fruit cake stalker!

I thought this was going to be a complete load of shite but I was pleasantly surprised! This was kinda disturbing and made me think people are very strange – it had a few gripping bits and even one bit made people jump (lol). It’ll make you go home and check the curtains are drawn doors are locked!

Focus (15) – what’s it about? A con man takes on an apprentice who ends up falling for him.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but you know Will Smith is good usually and I wouldn’t say it was disappointing as it was enjoyable but it wasn’t like wow. The story was good and how it all worked was really well thought out – even if the thought of these con/theft gangs existing was a little disturbing. It’s really worth a look if you like crime stuff but in parts it just felt a little lacking.
