The
Shape of Water (15) –
what’s it about? A girl who works at a top secret research centre makes an unexpected
friend.
This is the age old story
of girl meets fish, girl falls in love with fish, girl…well that’s enough of
that. I really don’t know where to start with this one; I just don’t know how
to describe it. I suppose it’s a story of people really and the rights of
people. It’s quite a deep film when you think about it and I was a little
disturbed thinking about it a bit too much. I think I came out and liked it,
but I’m still not 100% sure - it was weird but good but I don’t know…well the
good seems to outweigh the average thoughts. I think it’s one of those though you’ll
have to watch it and judge for yourself.

Black
Panther (12) – what’s
it about? Black Panther must stop a villain from using his people’s technology
for evvvvvviiiiillllll.
So this is the next instalment
of Marvel goodness. Another action packed comic book movie that does what it
says on the tin really. A hero must stop a villain yadda yadda yadda – you know
the drill in these movies. This one was all about Black Panther; of course he
made his debut in Captain America: Civil War but it was good to see him now in
his own movie to flesh out his story. I wouldn’t say this was an origin story
but it does give you the lowdown and introduction to the history of the Black
Panther and Wakanda. Though it’s a little more political than some of the other
Marvel movies, don’t fear as it still has all your normal comic book goodness. If
you love the Marvel universe you’ll probably love this one too :D
